SDMAC December Breakfast featuring the official release of the    2022 Military Economic Impact Report   ______________________________________

SDMAC's annual Military Economic Impact Report (MEIR) highlights the positive fiscal and societal impacts of federal defense budgets, veteran benefits and retirement pay, and civic involvement by our military-connected community in the San Diego region.  The 2022 MEIR is a product of the rigorous work done by UC San Diego's prestigious Rady School of Management.  

Leveraging insights from the frontier of academic research, the team's data analysts applied tools to calculate the impact of military dollars on San Diego's GDP from primary sources from the various levels of government, military branches of service, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. 

Additionally, the perspectives of both military and private sector leadership are included on both the quantitative and qualitative impacts of the military presence upon the San Diego community.
